Louisio, I think you're missing a couple of key points that go against your position. Winning is in Stevens' blood, it's in his DNA. Something similar to what Larry Bird said: I din't come to play, I more »

RallyC, Sure the numbers by themselves are true. But if you use numbers to prove your point it's completely different ball game. For instance, you mentioned 35-42/.455 winning % vs 5-21/.192%. But whe more »

Actually, Sam's Celtics forum is open to anyone. They just have much better moderation, e.g. personall atacks and insults  are not allowed.

    Wozzy,

You're incorrect: it was 39 points, not 33. Game 6's score was 131-92.

    Hi,

I think AB will be retained for about 7-8M for 3-4 years. Unless Danny finds a trade, he'll a part of, for a tier 1 center and/or SG.

    Hi,

I think BrSt showed, so far, that he can adapt. So, when RR is back, he will adapt to what RR can and can not do.

    Hi,

Rumor is that he doesn't want to play. Therefore I don't think Mia or Atl would want him, even at VM level.

    Hi,

As spewey noted - a lot depends on ATL.

In order for the Celtics to get Nets' pick in 17-20 range Atl also has to be in that range.

I usually disagree with you but this post - I couldn't agree more.

Actually, there's another reason this trade won't work. If Yahoo Sports is correct. Hou already has 15 players on its roster.

But you're correct Re: KO and Vitor.

    R9R,

If the ESPN trade machine is right it'd a very good trade for Celtics.

I don't know if Hou would benefit from the trade...

    R9R,

I don't think the salaries will work on this trade:

    Asik - 8.734M  Bass+Lee - 11.675M

    The difference > 125%.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

R9R, AFAIU, the path that Danny's taken is not to win now but to create a contender in 3-5 years. Your trade scenario is OK but it doesn't fit the above. Personally, I wouldn't trade JG+Sully for Hayw more »
