ArtsEmerson, its influence on the Greater Boston culture scene growing seemingly every week, is taking another leap forward with an arts festival. The Emerson College culture umbrella will present The Next Thing (TNT) Festival from Feb. 15-24, a partnership with the Center for Theater Commons at Emerson College and New York’s Under the Radar Festival. The 10 days of live performance, live-streamed events, screenings, and workshops at the Paramount Center include controversial monologist Mike Daisey’s “American Utopias.”

Festival passes are on sale now at www.artsemerson.org or by phone at 617-824-8400.

“TNT is designed to take audiences on a high energy tour of contemporary performance, featuring a combustible combination of pioneering theatre artists of the moment, films celebrating legendary performances that inspired them and artist-led excursions into the techniques and processes fueling these companies,” according to David Dower, ArtsEmerson’s director of artistic programs.
