> STUDY TIME
CRAIG I’d been up since 6 a.m. I wasn’t nervous. Just curious.
JACLYN Sitting in class all day I was extremely nervous.
CRAIG We both showed up exactly at 8.
JACLYN I saw he was standing alone, so I knew it had to be him. He asked me if I was Jaclyn and we shook hands.
CRAIG She was dressed nicely.
JACLYN He was really tall and thin.
CRAIG She had a pleasant smile.
JACLYN I could tell by his presence that he was a really nice guy.
CRAIG We immediately found out that we both had roots at UNH.
JACLYN He just graduated [last] May and I am still a student, so we talked a lot about [school].
CRAIG We’re both family-oriented, both of our families have summer places near the beach; she’s a sorority girl and studies liberal arts.
JACLYN We talked about graduate school, and we both traveled to London in the past few years.
CRAIG I had salmon with sauvignon blanc — at her suggestion, since she is taking a wine class.
JACLYN I ordered chicken Parmesan. The food was pretty good and the atmosphere was pretty cool.
CRAIG I made her try my fish because she said she only likes shellfish.
JACLYN We are both coffee addicts and we even love the same UNH bar.
CRAIG We are both students, enjoy the beach, have busy schedules, and love UNH.
JACLYN I got more comfortable as the date went on.
CRAIG We were pretty “lax” the whole time.
JACLYN When he would laugh, he became more attractive.
CRAIG She said she was addicted to shopping. That’s scary.
JACLYN I was just going with the flow.
CRAIG I think I realized we have different interests.
> FINAL EXAM
CRAIG I had class the next day, so I couldn’t stay late.
JACLYN He asked if I wanted to grab a drink or dessert, so I said sure.
CRAIG We walked to the Thirsty Moose for a drink.
JACLYN We both walked to the garage where we parked.
CRAIG I needed to head home to get some sleep. It ended mutually.
JACLYN He asked for my number.
CRAIG I offered a hug.
JACLYN I hugged him goodbye.

CRAIG We exchanged numbers, but we shall see.
