Your thoughts on the conflict in the Mideast

Do you think the Israeli offensive in the West Bank is an effective way to halt terror attacks against Israelis? Do you think the United States has been an effective leader in Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations? Are you concerned the conflict is making a terrorist attack on the US more likely? Share your thoughts.

I feel that the situation in the West Bank is really none of our business, we should have kept our noses out of it from the get go because it is one of the direct causes of 9/11, our involvement in their conflict and our support of Israel and lackthereof for Palestine. I know it is our policy to help other countries in the world, but sometimes we need to butt out. This all goes back to what happened at the end of World War II. Where we gave Israel to jewish people, and it was a part of palestine that we "annexed" from them.
