Police have identified a 28-year-old man who died after falling from a boat Saturday in New Hampshire’s Northwood Lake as Brendan W. Yerry, of Manchester, N.H.

Yerry fell from a boat being operated by Eric Cable, 32, of Hooksett, N.H., who was charged with boating while intoxicated. Yerry’s body was found Sunday morning in about 15 feet of water, according to New Hampshire State Police.

New Hampshire State Police Marine Patrol was called to the lake around 7:45 p.m. Saturday on reports that a boater had fallen overboard, but an evening search was unsuccessful.

The search resumed Sunday morning and Yerry’s body was found at about 9:45 a.m. in approximately 15 feet of water in the lake, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Police could not immediately disclose how Cable and Yerry knew each other. The incident remains under investigation.
