Methuen woman dies in 3-vehicle crash on I-93 in Andover
A woman is dead and a man is seriously injured after a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 93 in Andover Saturday afternoon, according to State Police. The victims, a 52-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man, both of Methuen, were traveling on a motorcycle around 1:45 p.m. on the southbound side of I-93 near Interstate 495 when the crash occurred with a GMC Jimmy and a Jeep Liberty, State Police said in a statement. Both victims were taken to Lawrence General Hospital, where the woman was pronounced dead, State Police said. The man was then taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries. The drivers of the two vehicles were not injured.
