Rain-free weather is expected for most of this week, National Weather Service says
Boston will get a break from the rain this week and should see lots of sunshine, according to the National Weather Service.
Today temperatures should top off in the high 70s.
Tuesday will be similar, with a high of 77. There is a slight chance of afternoon showers for the western part of the state, but it is unlikely that the wet weather will hit Boston, said meteorologist Charley Foley.
Wednesday will be partly sunny and temperatures will be as high as 81.
The rest of the week will bring mostly sunny skies, temperatures in the low 80s, and comfortable humidity, Foley said.Melissa Werthmann can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
