Bicyclist in his 40s struck and fatally injured by hit-and-run vehicle near Wellesley Square
WELLESLEY - A bicyclist in his 40s was struck and fatally injured this afternoon by a vehicle, which then fled the scene, Wellesley police said.
The person was struck near the intersection of Weston Road and Linden street, a short distance away from both Wellesley Square and Wellesley College. Police said the man was in his 40s and was riding a bike when he was hit.
The crash is under investigation by Wellseley police and Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey.
