Two Boston police officers are injured after alleged assault

Two police officers were injured after allegedly being assaulted during an incident in the South End Monday evening, Boston police said.
The incident occurred at 32 Montgomery St., said Officer Nicole Grant, a Boston police spokeswoman.
Both officers were taken to Boston Medical Center, Grant added. The extent of the injuries was not known and no further details were immediately available.
