Somerville Police searching for two suspects after Saturday night shooting leaves man with serious injuries
Somerville Police are searching for two suspects in a Saturday night shooting that sent a 24-year-old man to the hospital with serious injuries, according to a police statement.
Just before 9:15 p.m. on Saturday night, police received multiple reports of gunshots in the area of Evergreen Avenue and Marshall Street. They found the man in a home in the area. He was taken to a nearby hospital with non-fatal injuries, according to the statement.
No arrests have been made, but police are searching for two people who were seen leaving the area on foot seconds after the shots were heard, according to the statement.
Somerville Police Detectives are investigating with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and Crime Scene Services Section.
