Seven people were injured in a multi-car crash on Route 128 this morning, State Police said.
The accident happened just south of Exit 26 in Waltham at 10:50 a.m., said Trooper Todd Nolan, a State Police spokesman.
The crash involved a 2008 Chevy Equinox, 2006 Ford E-350 van, and 2012 Ford Escape, Nolan said.
Two people in the first vehicle and five people in the van were injured, he said. All were taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
State Police were assisted by the Waltham Fire Department.
The scene was cleared just after noon, Nolan said. The crash caused traffic delays.
