Woman makes it out of Boston Harbor in Chelsea, officials say
A rescue team was able to help a woman who made it to shore from the waters of Boston Harbor near Admiral’s Hill in Chelsea Friday night, fire officials said. A second woman was reported to be in the water but her outcome was not immediately known late Friday night.
The woman who made it to shore was distraught and “out of control,” according to a Chelsea fire official. That woman was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, but her condition was also unknown.
The Boston Fire Department Marine Unit, as well as both State and Chelsea police, assisted in the search for the women.
No further details were immediately available.
