Bridgewater car crash sends one adult, three children to the hospital
Police are investigating a car crash that sent one adult and three children to the hospital Saturday, according to Bridgewater police.
Around 6 p.m. Saturday, Marlice Oliveira of Brockton, who was driving south on Bedford Street, tried to make a left turn and crashed into a vehicle carrying an adult and three children, Bridgewater police said in a statement.
Two of the children, age 7 and 14, were taken to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital with minor injuries, according to police. The driver was also taken there to be treated for “lower extremity” injuries, police said. A 12-year-old, with facial injuries was taken to Boston Children’s Hospital.
Oliveira was issued a citation for failing to grant right of way, according to police.Katherine Landergan can be reached at email@example.com.
