Pedestrian killed by truck at St. Elizabeth’s hospital in Brighton
A pedestrian died after being struck by a truck on the grounds of a hospital in Brighton this afternoon, police said.
The person was struck on the grounds of the St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, at the corner of Nevins and Warren streets at around 1:30 p.m., police said.
Officer Neva Coakley, a Boston Police spokeswoman, said the driver was not charged. She said did not know whether the driver stayed at the scene.
Police are not releasing the victim’s name until they can notify family, she said.
