A stolen city truck was recovered this morning in the Mattapan neighborhood, police said.
The truck was recovered at around 8:40 a.m. near Hummingbird and Lark streets, in a new neighborhood built on former state hospital grounds, police said.
Officials had asked for the public’s help after the Parks and Recreation truck, a white 2004 Chevrolet, with plow on the front and a sander on the back, was stolen from city property Wednesday night in Dorchester’s Franklin Park.
The investigation is continuing, police said.
