Two-alarm blaze damages Milton home; occupants escape safely
A two-alarm blaze heavily damaged a Milton home today, but the occupants were able to escape safely, fire officials said.
The fire was reported at the home on Parkwood Drive at about 7:15 a.m., said Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Mahony.
Mahony said the house was rendered uninhabitable. “They won’t be staying in that house,” he said. His rough estimate of the damage was $200,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, he said.
