Woman arrested after stabbing in Cambridge
Cambridge police arrested one woman and plan to seek charges against another after a fight in the Putnam Gardens housing development ended in a stabbing early Saturday morning, a police spokesman said. Police responded to Putnam Gardens around 1:30 a.m., Cambridge police spokesman Dan Riviello said. Police said Brittany Fobbs, 24, of Cambridge, stabbed an unidentified woman twice . She was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The woman, who Riviello said hit Fobbs with a bottle during the fight, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Riviello said. Police plan to seek an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon charge against her. Riviello said the two women knew one another, but did not say how.
