Start of 2013 is lucky for winner of $1.2 million Massachusetts Lottery prize
There was nothing unlucky about the beginning of 2013 for one lottery hopeful, who won $1,155,915 this morning in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s SUPER 50/50 Raffle.
The winner has not claimed the prize yet, and won’t be able to until the Lottery’s Braintree headquarters re-opens Wednesday morning.
The winning ticket was sold at the Smok’in Deals located at 1285 Boston Road, Springfield. The store’s owner, Hamid Bijari, will receive $50,000 for selling the ticket.
