Norton meets with four superintendent finalists
The Norton School Committee interviewed four finalists for superintendent on Saturday and decided to wait until Monday to determine its next move. Chairman Andrew Mackie said the committee might call some of the finalists back for an additional interview, but liked what it saw. “We think that it’s a good pool of candidates,” he said. The finalists are: Joseph Baeta, Holbrook superintendent of schools; Bonny Gifford, assistant superintendent in Nauset; Allen Himmelberger, Oxford’s superintendent; and Patricia Lally, assistant superintendent in Tewksbury. The School Committee is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Norton Middle School.
