Three lanes and the breakdown lane have been closed on Interstate 93 North following a tractor-trailer rollover late this morning in Wilmington, police said.
Police are unsure how long the lanes will remain closed and advised people in the area to seek alternate routes, saying traffic will be impacted for some time as Transportation Department workers and State Police respond to the accident, State Police said in a statement.
The truck driver sustained injuries and needed to be “extricated” from the cab, police said in a statement.
“The extent of the injuries are not entirely known but not expected to be fatal,” police said.
