Police are investigating a man’s body found near the Merrimack River in Manchester N.H. Sunday evening.
Police have not identified the victim, and did not specify the person’s age.
A resident of the area found the body near 280 Riverdale Ave., near the Pine Grove Cemetery, and called police at about 4:45 p.m., police said.
Manchester police and firefighters were on the scene.
The New Hampshire Union Leader reported that 22-year-old Kody Sharp, who lived on Riverdale Ave, has been missing since November. At the time, the Union Leader reported, police conducted an extensive search of the area, including the steep embankments of the river.
