Methuen man killed in Portsmouth, N.H., crash Friday night
A Methuen man was killed in a crash on Interstate 95 in Portsmouth, N.H., Friday night after his car left the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail, and rolled over multiple times, according to a statement from the New Hampshire State Police Department.
William Lasonde, 63, was thrown from his 2006 Chevrolet HHR sedan during the accident, which occurred at about 9:48 p.m. in the right median area separating I-95 north and the exit 5 off ramp, according to the statement.
He was transported to the Portsmouth Regional Hospital, where he later died, said the statement.
Part of the right travel lane was closed for about two hours as state troopers began their investigation, which is ongoing.
