10-year-old girl hospitalized after Nashoba Valley snow tubing collision
A 10-year-old girl was taken to the hospital after colliding with another person while snow tubing at the Nashoba Valley Ski Area tubing park late this morning, the park’s general manager, Al Fletcher, said.
The girl collided with the other person at the bottom of the Littleton tubing facility and momentarily lost consciousness, just after 11 a.m., Fletcher said. She regained consciousness while receiving medical care and was taken to the hospital for further treatment. No further information on the girl’s condition was immediately available.
Fletcher said crews are still figuring out the details surrounding the crash, though the park was up and running again within minutes.
Just after noon today, Nashoba Valley had 16 of its 18 tubing lanes open, with four lifts running. This week, the tubing park is running on holiday hours. The hill is normally busiest during the weekends, according to its website.Lauren Dezenski can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
