One dead, two injured in Wilmington head-on crash
One person died Sunday evening in a head-on collision on Route 125 in Wilmington, near North Reading, State Police said.
Firefighters from Wilmington and Andover arrived at the scene shortly after 8:30 p.m. to find one person dead in the two-car crash, State Police said in a statement. Two others were taken by ambulance to Lawrence General Hospital with unknown injuries.
State Police did not identify the person who was killed or the injured parties.
Route 125 was closed after the accident while authorities removed the injured from the vehicles, gathered evidence, and removed debris from the roadway.
