The man who allegedly kicked an 8-year-old girl in the leg on an Orange Line train last month was arraigned Thursday in Charlestown District Court on one charge of assault with a dangerous weapon, prosecutors said. A not guilty plea was entered on behalf of Antwan Crawford, 32, who allegedly kicked the girl Feb. 27 after arguing with passengers on the train because he believed someone had stepped on his shoes, Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office said in a statement. The girl’s mother took a picture of Crawford, which police used to identify him and arrest him, the statement said.
