History buffs gather for Cocktails with Clio

More than 200 supporters of the Massachusetts Historical Society gathered at the Harvard Club on Friday for Cocktails With Clio, a benefit for MHS named after the muse of history: Clio. The event featured a talk with Harvard’s Henry Louis Gates Jr. , of the PBS series “Finding Your Roots,” who is also on the society’s Council of Overseers. Guests included state Representative Byron Rushing (far right), philanthropists Ann and Graham Gund, and community supporter Frieda Garcia (near right.)
