Folk legend Tom Rush, who’ll celebrate 50 years of making music with a show at Symphony Hall on Dec. 28, stopped by the Globe and Boston.com Monday (inset) for a “Live in the Lab” session. The Symphony Hall show was the result of a Kickstarter campaign, the fifth most successful music campaign the fund-raising site has ever done. . . . Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan, and Glen Joseph Power, the Irish lads that make up the Script, were spotted at the Revere Hotel while in town to perform at MIX 104.1’s “Not So Silent Night” show at the Lansdowne Pub. . . . Actor Michael Gladis (Paul Kinsey on “Mad Men”) stopped into Legal C Bar at Logan for a cup of chowder Monday. . . . Former Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan was in the Christmas spirit at the Nordstrom Northshore holiday party Sunday night. . . . Celtics guard Jason Terry joined members of the C’s CommUNITY Crew in helping cook and serve meals to folks at the Pine Street Inn. . . . Marlo Mae Manning, founder of Boston-based Fairy Dog Parents, rubbed elbows with celebs at the CNN Heroes of 2012 party in Los Angeles. Presenters included Susan Sarandon, Adrien Brody, Maria Bello, Viola Davis, Harvey Keitel, 50 Cent, Rainn Wilson, Jane Lynch, and Miranda Cosgrove. Fairy Dog Parents helps prevent dogs from being placed in shelters.
