The crowd at the School of Fashion Design on Newbury Street was all dolled up this week for the opening of photographer Joel Benjamin’s show, “Debbie’s Barbies.” In addition to Benjamin’s shots of Barbie, several designers — Sam Mendoza, “Project Runway” alum Jonathan Joseph Peters, Daniel Faucher, Candice Wu, and Firas Yousif — created clothing for Barbies that were then auctioned to benefit the school. Also at the party were the school’s board chairman Robert Rutkauskas, StyleWeek Northeast founder Rosanna Ortiz Sinel, Coup Boston creative director Joseph Gordon Cleveland, and Maggie models Marie Wu and Roberta Silva.
