Stephen King at UMass Lowell
Horror master Stephen King was at UMass-Lowell Friday and spoke to more than 3,000 people at the Tsongas Center. Beforehand, the best-selling author (second from left) from Bangor got together with a few faculty members, including (from left) English professor Bridget Marshall, author Andre Dubus III, and English department chair Anthony Szczesiul . King’s talk raised money for a new scholarship fund for UMass-Lowell students endowed by King and his wife, Tabitha.
