Time again for the holiday tradition known as Wrap-a-Pat

It’s a holiday tradition kind of like lighting the tree or caroling. Each year, children from community centers throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island go to Gillette Stadium, have a party, and partake in Wrap-a-Pat, a game in which kids working together race to wrap Patriots players in holiday paper, bows, and ribbons. If that sounds fun that’s because it is. Just look at the little ones’s gleeful expressions. . . . Between the new baby and his pre- and post-game responsibilities, Tom Brady isn’t getting a lot of rest these days. But he isn’t complaining. The day after the Pats destroyed the Houston Texans, the QB said he sleeps when he can and doesn’t watch much TV. “I watch Dexter,” Brady told WEEI morning men John Dennis and Gerry Callahan, adding that he’s also seen every episode of “24” and “The Shield.” Asked if he’s seen “Homeland,” Brady said no, but seemed intrigued when Callahan mentioned there’s occasional frontal nudity. “All the more reason to watch,” said Brady. About the new baby — Vivian Lake, born last week — he’s glad to have a girl. Brady told ESPN it will help his sons, John, 5, and Benjamin, 3, “understand at least a little bit about what makes a woman tick — not that I can certainly figure that out, because I can’t. She’s a beautiful little girl.”
