Jamie McCourt says $131 million is not enough, sues her ex-husband for more
If you thought you’d heard the last from Frank and Jamie McCourt, think again. Courthouse News Service reports that the former Boston developer and his ex are squabbling again about — what else — money. According to CNS, Jamie McCourt has filed a new lawsuit against her ex-husband, claiming he shortchanged her by misrepresenting the value of his assets, specifically of the Los Angeles Dodgers, which he sold in 2011. In the lawsuit, Jamie McCourt claims she settled for $131 million in the divorce but actually deserves $900 million. Frank McCourt, who was among the unsuccessful bidders for the Red Sox before John Henry bought the team, purchased the Dodgers in 2004. The couple’s divorce became a spectacle, even by LA standards, with tales of alleged affairs, multimillion-dollar homes, and profligate spending on private jets, hairdressers, and housekeepers.
