Suicide prevention group parties at House of Blues

At the same time the Patriots’ season was ending, Blair Ballard, daughter of Stacey Lucchino, and Ashley Marchal, daughter of Debbie DiMasi, were at the House of Blues with hundreds of other young people for Make Noise 2013, a benefit for the local suicide-prevention organization Samaritans. Joe Bermudez, from radio station 103.3 AMP, worked the turntables after electro-popsters Young London warmed up the crowd. Gathered upstairs were the adults and event sponsors, including Lucchino and her husband, Sox CEO Larry Lucchino, Samaritans executive director Roberta Hurtig, Tiffany Ortiz, wife of Sox slugger David Ortiz, YMCA of Greater Boston CEO Kevin Washington, United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley president Michael Durkin, Scott Rauch, president and psychiatrist in chief at McLean Hospital.
