James Taylor’s sons more excited to meet Kelly Clarkson than the president

President Obama wasn’t even the most interesting person at his own inauguration. At least according to Rufus and Henry Taylor, the 11-year-old twins of singer James Taylor and his wife Kim . (Taylor sang at the ceremony.) We’re told the brothers were especially excited to meet Kelly Clarkson , who performed “My Country ’Tis of Thee” at the inauguration. As they were walked by their mother and father to the singer’s dressing room, which was set up in a senator’s office at the Capitol, Rufus whispered, “Mom, dad, don’t say anything, please. Let us do the talking.” . . . By the way, that whole controversy about Beyonce lip-synching at the inauguration doesn’t bother Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler . Asked about it by TMZ, the 64-year-old broke into song. “Whatever gets you through the night,” be bellowed, borrowing a line from John Lennon . He then added, “Beyonce’s so hot she can do anything. Let’s just get real.”
