The Institute works with Mass. General surgeon Steven Zeitels to raise money and educate the world about health problems related to the voice, throat, and larynx. Institute board members include singers Lionel Richie and Christina Perri, sportscaster Joe Buck, the Who’s Roger Daltrey, and Zeitels’s most famous local patient, Tyler. Other names at the benefit included “Cheers” writer and director James Burrows and Zeitels’s Mass. General colleague, Dr. Robert E. Hillman.
