Artist Resa Blatman — seen here in front of Sarah Meyers Brent’s mixed media and acrylic work “Hanging Plant” — was one of the 100-some people who attended the opening party for the first exhibition at the Nave Gallery Annex. The original Nave Gallery is still open at the Clarendon Hill Presbyterian Church, but the Davis Square annex on Chester Street will give curators the chance to show more work. The debut exhibition is called “Picnic.” Curators are Jenn Harrington and Susan Berstler.
