According to Deadline.com, Boston might be getting a TV show — as long as the “deal-making” goes our way. Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva reports that “Terminales,” the pilot that was shot in Boston late last year, is in contention for the network’s lineup. ABC Family has already green-lighted two other shows, a Jennifer Lopez-produced drama called “The Fosters” and a high school murder mystery called “Twisted,” but Andreeva says, “I hear the network’s third drama pilot, ‘Terminales,’ is still very much in contention and may get a series order contingent on some deal-making.” “Terminales,” which was adapted from a Mexican drama, is about a young news-paper reporter who discovers she has a terminal illness. The pilot was filmed all around town — and down the hall from us. The Globe’s offices were used for newsroom scenes, and a faux elevator constructed for the set still stands (Twitter handle, @GlobeElevator, natch). The drama stars Italia Ricci, Barry Watson of “Gossip Girl” and “7th Heaven,” and Australian actor Richard Brancatisano. Folks with the show told us in December that if “Terminales” gets picked up, it’ll film here in Boston (and will be renamed).
