The Boston Globe
Boston, MA -- 02/10/13 -- Morgan Berg(cq) is crowned Miss Boston 2013 at the 2013 Miss Boston and Miss Cambridge Pageant at the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts on February 10, 2013. (Kayana Szymczak for the Boston Globe)
Boston and Cambridge have new royals. Morgan Berg, who’s getting her bachelor’s in nursing at the University of Massachusetts-Boston, was crowned Miss Boston 2013 during the Miss Boston and Miss Cambridge Pageant at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel on Sunday. The Miss Cambridge honor went to C arrie Sunde, a Charlestown resident and Syracuse University student who’s getting a degree in public relations. Both pageants feed into the Miss Massachusetts competition, which determines who reps the state at the Miss America pageant. Women from Greater Boston are considered for both the Miss Boston and Miss Cambridge titles.
