New Kid on the Block and part-time actor Donnie Wahlberg was at Theatre 1 at the Revere Hotel on Wednesday night to give locals a first look at “Boston’s Finest,” a new TNT show that follows the lives of real Boston cops. Wahlberg is the executive producer of the show. The guest list for the screening included Mayor Tom Menino, local officers who will be profiled on the series, and Wahlberg’s coproducers, Julie and Seth Jarrett. The show premieres for the rest of the country on Feb. 27.
