Mary Badham, who played Scout in 1962’s “To Kill a Mockingbird,” is a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Suffolk University this week. On Monday night, she appeared at the Modern Theatre for a screening of the film and told the audience what it was like to work with Gregory Peck when she was just 10 years old. She was joined during her visit by Jason Carter, cofounder of the Suffolk Cinema Series.
