“Ocean’s Eleven” star Andy Garcia hasn’t worked out the full schedule for his two-day visit to Boston, but he does know that he wants to get to the second World Series game after he arrives on Thursday. The actor, who screens his movie “At Middleton” as part of the Boston Film Festival on Friday, tells us that he’ll be rooting for the good guys if he get to Fenway Park. “I’m a Dodgers fan but I’m rooting for the Red Sox,” said Garcia (inset), who filmed some of 2009’s “The Pink Panther 2” in town, and had one of his daughters start her college experience at Emerson years ago (she later transferred because she wanted to be in New York). Garcia’s new film is about two grown-ups who fall for each other when they take their children on a college tour. Cast members include Tom Skerritt, Vera Farmiga, and Farmiga’s real-life younger sister Taissa , who plays Vera’s daughter in the movie. Garcia said he’s been a fan of Vera’s work, and that they got to know each other the same way that their “Middleton” characters do — from scratch. “We never read the script together,” he said of “The Departed” actress. “We never rehearsed together. I stepped out in my wardrobe. She laughed at me. I thought, ‘We’re ready to go.’ ” Friday night’s screening is at 7:15 at The Revere Hotel.
