[an error occurred while processing this directive] Long line for roller coaster prompts organized bathroom breaks

By Associated Press, 5/12/03

SANDUSKY, Ohio -- People waited so long to ride the world's tallest roller coaster that workers at Cedar Point Amusement Park organized bathroom breaks.

Some waited more than four hours to ride the Top Thrill Dragster on opening day last week.

"We knew it was going to be a long wait, so we tried to make our guests as comfortable as possible," Cedar Point spokesman Robin Innes said. "We gave them passes to get back in line."

The coaster shoots riders up and over a single steep 420-foot hill and then plummeting back to earth.

The park plans to increase the number of trains on the coaster from three to five, Innes said. Each train carries 16 passengers.
