My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends in this horrific tragedy.
F.K., S. Shore
Last night while my 10 year old son was falling asleep I heard him whispering, and I asked what was wrong. He said "Daddy, I have to pray for all those people, some of them will never go home." Our prayers go out to the families and the victims, to help them through this horrible reality that we be in the air for a long time. God Bless!!!
Carli O'Brien, Beverly
Now is a time of great loss and tragedy. We wait and watch in horror and and saddness the massive search and rescue efforts in New York and Washington, we are reminded that this country was build by individuals coming together and supporting one another. I believe in America. To the cowards who are responsible WE WILL FIND YOU. Let it be known that America is strong now and forever! Love and prayers to all Americans with loved ones lost.
Nilsa Carrasquillo, Boston
I want to extend my very deepest sympathy to all those families directly or indirectly affected by these atrocious acts of terrorism against our country! I pray for our complete healing and recovery from this tragedy and hope this experience brings us closer to our fellowman as well as to our God.
Cindy, Gardner
All I want to do is cry. There is nothing that i can say or due to make this better. I know though that we will rise from this tremendous tragedy. We are the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE. My heart goes out to everyone everywhere.
Anonymous, Richmond, VA
As a person who lost one family member several years ago to terrorist in Kuwait and came very close to losing two brothers Tuesday, my sympathy and prayers go out to the families who lost loved ones. It never really gets easier, but always remember all the good times that you had with your loved ones it makes the loss easier to manage. "It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all."
Desiree, Attleboro
My thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and their families. I'm also thinking about the survivors and how hard it will be for them to carry on without some of their friends, co-workers and for some, family members. God bless America.
Anne, Georgetown
My husband and I are so deeply saddened by this horrific act of hatred by the person(s) responsible. You just have this feeling of total helplessnes. Our thoughts and daily prayers are with all the families, freinds and acquantences of those suffering, please know we all suffer along side of you.
Samantha, Boston
I want to express my deep sympathies to the families and friends who lost loved ones in this horrific tragedy. I am thinking about you every minute of every day and every fiber of my heart goes out to you.
Jennifer, Roslindale
As with so many others in the country, and indeed, in the world, my heart goes out to all those who have lost loved ones, friends, co-workers, and their very way of life. We are all struggling right now to make sense of this, and even just to come to grips with the reality of it. My greatest fear now, though, is that hate will tear us all apart. Already, there are shades of the days following Pearl Harbor, when Japanese Americans were herded against their will into camps... away from their homes, their livelihood, their loved ones. Now, even though not government-sanctioned, there is undue prejudice against some of our fellow American citizens, simply because of their connection to a distant homeland, a different faith. This is not the time to strike out against our fellow citizens who have roots in the Middle East. Those kinds of prejudices are what brought us to this point. We must stand together in solidarity. Do not let hate consume us; let us not become that which has taken so many innocent lives and destroyed so much.
