Fire department needs help to win contest

Local leaders are urging area residents to help the Wilmington Fire Department win a $10,000 grant from Liberty Mutual. The insurance company is again running a fire safety promotional contest. For the Fire Department to win, residents need to complete a short online quiz on fire safety. To access the quiz, visit www.wilmingtonma.gov and click on the link to the contest information, which appears in a red banner at the top of the homepage. Wilmington was a winner last year and was able to purchase a thermal imaging device with the grant. This year’s contest is running through Monday.
