Whitey Bulger’s girlfriend denied bail
A lawyer for James “Whitey” Bulger’s girlfriend yesterday urged a federal magistrate judge to make a decision on her request for bail, one way or the other. Catherine Greig, who is charged with conspiracy to harbor a fugitive for allegedly helping Bulger evade capture for more than 16 years, should be freed on bail until her case is resolved, Brockton attorney Kevin Reddington said in a motion filed yesterday.
