Photography show on Bhutan

Hingham Public Library will display town resident Ben Kerman’s photographs of the Himalayan countryside in an exhibition opening Saturday and continuing through March 1. Kerman, a medical professional, says he hopes that his photography provides insight into the land and people of Bhutan, a small Himalayan country and the only Vajrayana Buddhist nation in the world. In addition, Kerman will present a slide lecture on the medical relief effort in Bhutan on Feb. 9 at 11:30 a.m. The lecture is cosponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at University of Massachusetts Boston.
