The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating an incident Thursday afternoon in which a jetliner on a final approach to Logan International Airport was forced to abort its landing because another plane taxied onto its runway without clearance. American Airlines Flight 349, which was about to take off for Dallas-Fort Worth airport, moved onto a runway without air traffic authorization, forcing controllers to order Delta Flight 1386 from LaGuardia Airport in New York to go around and make another landing approach.
