Woman charged with stalking Chicago Cubs president
CHICAGO—A Massachusetts woman has been charged with stalking Chicago Cubs President Theo Epstein after she was arrested trying to deliver a birthday present to his young son at his Chicago home.
Prosecutors say 44-year-old Kathleen Kearney of Canton, Mass., had tried to contact Epstein several times when he was the general manager of the
Kearney appeared in a Cook County courtroom Tuesday where she was charged with two felony counts of stalking. Bond was set at $75,000.
Her court-appointed attorney calls the stalking charges "completely overblown." Prosecutors say she's dangerous.![]()
