Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M
Manziel became the first freshman in history to win the Heisman Trophy in 2012 after he led Texas A&M to a major upset over Alabama on the road and a victory in the Cotton Bowl. Despite off field issues that kept him in the headlines for the wrong reasons over the summer, Manizel has a chance to repeat as winner, throwing for 3,732 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions through 12 games. His last two games, however, against LSU and Missouri severely damaged his chances, as he completed just 16 of 41 passes, threw just one touchdown, and had two interceptions in a 34-10 loss to LSU and accounted for just 195 yards and one touchdown in a 28-21 loss to Missouri. Manziel will have to see if his resume will be enough to net him another Heisman Trophy before he makes the jump to the NFL.
