About her: Katey Stone was named head coach of the US women’s national team in July 2012. A native of Arlington, Stone also serves as head coach at Harvard, a position she has held since 1993. She is the winningest coach in Division 1 women’s hockey history, totaling 402 wins going into the 2013-14 season. She led the Crimson to the 1999 AWCHA national championship, to three straight appearances in the NCAA championship game from 2003-05, to five NCAA Frozen Four appearances, five ECAC tournament championships, six Ivy League titles, and 10 Women’s Beanpot championships. She has coached skaters who have amassed 21 All-American honors since 1999 and has been named ECAC Coach of the Year three times (1999, 2005, and 2008).
