Boys’ basketball players of the week
Eddie Bowler, Hingham — The senior big man collected 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Harbormen to a 55-36 win over Hanover on Friday.
Khaneil Bruce, Pope John — The junior averaged 15.6 points and 13.5 rebounds as the Tigers went 3-0.
James Foye, Hamilton-Wenham — The sophomore guard filled up the stat sheet Friday night with 21 points, 7 steals, 5 assists, and 2 assists in a 63-55 win over visiting Amesbury.
Shane Haggerty, Cohasset — The senior captain became the eighth player in program history to reach 1,000 career points when he torched Monomoy for 37 in a 64-34 win on Tuesday. Haggerty also had 20 points in a 64-44 victory over Mashpee on Friday.
Alex Hilger, Natick — The junior guard dropped 22 points in a 73-54 win at Dedham on Tuesday and followed that up with 16 points in a 67-37 victory over Norwood on Friday.
Frantzdy Pierrot, Melrose — The junior forward nearly posted two triple-doubles for the Raiders. A captain, Pierrot had 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 steals in a 61-44 win at Wakefield on Tuesday, and 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 steals in a 69-51 victory at Wilmington on Friday.
Matt Plante, Case — The senior center helped the Cardinals go 3-0 by scoring 43 points and blocking 21 shots.
Dakari Wornom, Dorchester — The senior forward dominated the paint to the tune of 25 points, 25 rebounds, and 4 blocks in a 74-62 win over Latin Academy on Friday.
